Meet Watercolor Illustrator Maizie Clarke

To celebrate 10 years in business, I asked my friend, Maizie Clarke, to recreate the Embellished Brands logomark and bring to life other brand icons in watercolor format.
I've been a fan of Maizie's work for years, and I'm excited to add her artistic touch to Embellished Brands' visual assets.
More importantly, I wanted to introduce her to all of you, so I asked Maizie a few questions about herself and her business. Read her responses below.

Maizie, please introduce yourself!
Hi! I'm Maizie, I'm an illustrator and designer based in Louisville, Kentucky. I work with brands and companies to created custom wholesale products. I also sell products via my online shop at maizieclarke.com.
What has been your most favorite project you've worked on to date?
I have so many projects that I love! I love working with clients to create products that they are so excited and proud to carry in their shop!
What do you love most about being a business owner?
I love the flexibility and the creativity that each day brings.
Share a piece of advice for other business owners.
Keep showing up and sharing the work you want to be known for - you never know who is watching from afar and looking to work with you.
If you weren't an illustrator and money was no object, what would your dream career be and why?
Honestly, this is my dream career - I love this work so much, I couldn't image doing anything else!
